The fudge recipe printed on the back of the condensed milk can, because it's right. A pot, a spoon, and three ingredients โ€” two hours in the fridge and you have the holiday fudge you've been paying $6 a square for.

What You Need

Serves
36
  • 3 cups chocolate chips, semi-sweet or dark
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 14oz
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make It

  1. 1

Line an 8x8 pan with parchment, leaving overhang on two sides.

  2. 2

Combine chocolate chips and condensed milk in a heavy-bottomed pot over low heat. Stir constantly for 5โ€“7 minutes until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth and glossy. Kill the heat and stir in vanilla with a pinch of salt.

  3. 3

Pour into the pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Refrigerate 2 hours until firm. Use the parchment overhang to lift out, then slice into 36 small squares with a hot knife.
