Peanut butter cookies with fork crosshatch marks on a baking sheet

3-Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

No flour. No butter. No chilling the dough. These are the most honest cookies in the world — they taste exactly like peanut butter, they take 10 minutes to prepare, and somehow they work. Gluten-free by default, which is either a selling point or irrelevant depending on who you're feeding.

What You Need

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg

How to Make It

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix all three ingredients until combined — the dough will be thick and slightly oily.

  2. 2

Roll into balls about the size of a walnut and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Press each one with a fork in a crosshatch pattern.

  3. 3

Bake for 10–12 minutes until the edges are just set. They'll look underdone when you take them out — that's correct. Let them cool completely on the pan before moving them; they firm up as they cool.
