Glossy, glazed, absurdly easy salmon that pretends it took effort. Fifteen minutes, four ingredients, one pan. Salmon is cheaper than chicken in some weeks โ catch the sale.
What You Need
Serves
4
- 4 salmon filets, skin-on, 6oz each
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
How to Make It
- 1
Whisk honey, soy, and garlic with 2 tablespoons water in a small bowl.
- 2
Heat a skillet over medium-high with a tablespoon of oil. Pat salmon dry, season with salt, and sear skin-side up for 4 minutes. Flip and cook 3 more minutes.
- 3
Pour the sauce around (not on) the salmon. Let it bubble and reduce for 90 seconds, spooning the glaze over the tops until lacquered. Serve with rice and a crown of scallions.
