4-Ingredient Salmon With Miso Glaze
Miso-glazed salmon is a restaurant staple that people are often surprised to discover they can replicate at home in 15 minutes for a fraction of the cost. The glaze does all the work โ it caramelizes under the broiler, adds deep umami, and keeps the fish from drying out. Four ingredients, zero technique required.
What You Need
- 2 salmon fillets, about 6oz each
- 2 tablespoons white miso paste
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or sake
How to Make It
- 1
Whisk miso, honey, and vinegar together into a smooth paste. Spread generously over the top of each salmon fillet. Let marinate for at least 10 minutes at room temperature, or overnight in the fridge.
- 2
Preheat broiler to high. Line a baking sheet with foil and place the glazed salmon on it.
- 3
Broil 8โ10 minutes until the glaze is deeply caramelized and the salmon is just cooked through โ it should flake when pressed gently in the thickest part. No flipping required.
