Set it before bed. Wake up to breakfast. Creamy, pudding-textured, keeps for five days. Four ingredients and a jar.

What You Need

Serves
2
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup milk of choice, almond, oat, or dairy
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup, or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make It

  1. 1

Whisk all ingredients in a jar or bowl for 30 seconds — do not just stir, whisk, to break up the clumps.

  2. 2

Let sit 10 minutes, then whisk again (this is the step everyone skips — don't). Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.

  3. 3

Top with fruit, nut butter, granola, or whatever's in the cupboard. Keeps in the fridge up to 5 days.
